Hi there, thinks it's that time again to post an entry!

In the last couple of months I've discovered that I have a (until now) secret obsession, and amazement for the art of Disney, especially the animated motion pictures up until the end of the Disney Renaissance (that is like "The Hunckback of Notre Dame" I guess). Bought old VHS's on flea markets and wonderful books to learn about Disney's unique way of character development, use of line, color, background, emotion, styles, techniques and all that. Boy, those nine old (and new) men could draw!!!

After drawing some of my favourite Disney characters (the result I will post in a couple of days I hope), I wanted to try and create an 'animated' character myself. Not make animation (I'd love to, but don't have the tools ) but create a 2d character that 'lives'. And for that my lovely dog, whom I usually nickname "Liza" came in handy as a study object! She loves posing!! I've gotten a long way already, at least long enough that I'm not extremely chicken to post things, so hope you'll like it.

Oh and by the way, it's NOT FAIR that little me in Holland has to wait waaay longer than the US for "Princess and the Frog"!!!
